Each year the Foundation office committees across the firm collaborate on a firmwide initiative that supports all of our communities. In 2019, we launched our first ever firmwide school supply drive. The goal of this firmwide effort is to meet the specific needs of elementary, secondary, and high school students in our local communities.
2022
Over the summer, volunteers in ten offices supported local schools or organizations to provide back-to-school supplies for students of all ages. Each office focused on meeting the specific needs of our local communities in different ways by providing backpacks, school supplies, and clothing, as well as by collecting monetary donations in order to purchase supplies during the school year. We are excited to share that across the firm we collected and donated more than $19,000 in supplies and monetary donations for the schools and non-profits. It is amazing to see the lasting impact that we can have in our communities through these volunteer efforts. A huge thanks to all who supported the drive for your time, energy, and donations.
2021
Nine of our offices organized activities to support local schools and non-profits for the Holland & Hart Foundation 2021 firmwide school supply drive, providing back-to-school supplies, clothing and other goods to students and community members over the summer. It is amazing to see the impact we can have in our communities with efforts like these! We are excited to share that across the firm the Foundation collected more than $12,000 in supplies and monetary donations. In addition, our business partner Lexis Nexis donated $3,000 that was divided among the schools and non-profits that we supported this year. To each of you who supported the 2021 firmwide school supply drive, thank you for your time, energy, and donations.
2020
Back-to-school supply drives operated differently in 2020 with new routines and processes for in-person learning and the increased need for remote-learning supplies. Several of the offices worked with a local school or organization to provide back-to-school supplies for students during the summer months and into the fall. Thank you to all the individuals for your contributions – bringing joy and learning to those in need.
- The Denver office supported Lutheran Family Services Rocky Mountains by donating 20 full backpacks (for elementary, middle, and high school students) and $2000+ that will be used to purchase additional supplies.
- The Boise office supported the Treasure Valley’s local Head Start/Early Head Start Program – Friends of Children and Families, Inc. by providing clothing and cash donations to go towards the purchase of new items.
- The SLC office supported Granite Education Foundation by purchasing 600 reusable water bottles for Granite School District students in need, whose school’s drinking fountains have been turned off during the pandemic.
2019
In 2019, the firm collected and donated more than $28,300 in supplies and monetary donations to help hundreds of students as they started a new school year. Each office worked with a local school or organization over the summer months to provide back-to-school supplies for students of all ages. Many thanks to those who contributed. In particular, thanks to all the office and floor coordinators for their organization and management of the contributions.
